Vicki first came to Crested Butte in 1993 from the San Francisco Bay Area where she graduated from U.C. Berkeley. After a brief stint in New York City working in film and television for National Geographic Television and Barbara Kopple, Vicki returned to Crested Butte and married Steve Church, local builder and writer. They have two children.

For nearly a decade, Vicki worked as the director of the Crested Butte Land Trust where she became knowledgeable in negotiating complex real estate transactions. Vicki is experienced in buying land and homes, building and renovating in and around Crested Butte.
